The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER), S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali) is an
autonomous Institute of National Importance set up by the Government of India, Ministry of Chemicals &
Fertilizers by an Act of Parliament, to impart higher education and undertake advanced research in the field
of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Technology and Management. The Institute intends to fill the following posts
on deputation cum short-terms contract basis:
Eligibility conditions:
Officers from Central or State Government / Autonomous Bodies / Government controlled & funded
recognized research institutions / Universities / Public Sector Undertakings:
(i) Holding analogous or equivalent post on regular basis , or
(ii) With 05 years regular service in PB-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with GP Rs.7600/- or equivalent
Remuneration and Benefits:
Pay Band-4 (Rs.37400-67000) plus Grade Pay of Rs.8700/- and other allowances at par with Central
Government pay and allowances.
2. DEPUTY REGISTRAR (ADMINISTRATION & PURCHASE)
Eligibility conditions:
Officers from Central or State Government / Autonomous Bodies / Government controlled & funded
recognized research institutions / Universities / Public Sector Undertakings:
(i) Holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department, or
(ii) With five years regular service rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the
scale of Pay Band-3, ‘15600-39100 with grade pay of ‘6600 or equivalent in the parent
cadre/department.
Remuneration and Benefits:
Pay Band – 3 (Rs.15600-39100) plus Grade Pay of Rs.7600/- and other allowances at par with Central
Government pay and allowances.
3. DEPUTY REGISTRAR (FINANCE AND ACCOUNTS)
Eligibility conditions:
Officers from Central or State Government / Autonomous Bodies / Government controlled & funded
recognized research institutions / Universities / Public Sector Undertakings:
(i) Holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department, or
(ii) With five years regular service rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the
scale of Pay Band-3, ‘15600-39100 with grade pay of ‘6600 or equivalent in the parent cadre/department.
Remuneration and Benefits:
Pay Band – 3 (Rs.15600-39100) plus Grade Pay of Rs. 7600/- and other allowances at par with
Central Government pay and allowances.
4. ASSISTANT REGISTRAR (ESTABLISHMENT)
Eligibility conditions:
Officers from Central or State Government / Autonomous Bodies / Government controlled & funded
recognized research institutions / Universities / Public Sector Undertakings:
(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre of Department or
(ii) With five years’ service in the grade pay of Rs. 4600/- or 4800/-
Remuneration and Benefits:
Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600-39100) plus Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- and other allowances at par with Central
Government pay and allowances.
5. ASSISTANT REGISTRAR (EXAMINATION)
Eligibility conditions:
Officers from Central or State Government / Autonomous Bodies / Government controlled & funded
recognized research institutions / Universities / Public Sector Undertakings:
(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre of Department or
(ii) With five years’ service in dealing with matter relevant to academic and examination in the
grade pay of Rs. 4600/- or 4800/- in supervisory capacity in a Govt. Office/Public body of
repute.
Remuneration and Benefits:
Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600-39100) plus Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- and other allowances at par with Central
Government pay and allowances.
6. EXECUTIVE ENGINEER (CIVIL)
Eligibility conditions:
Officers from Central or State Government / Autonomous Bodies / Government controlled & funded
recognized research institutions / Universities / Public Sector Undertakings:
(i) Holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department, or
(ii) With 05 years regular service in PB-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with GP Rs.5400/-.
Remuneration and Benefits:
Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600-39100) plus Grade Pay of Rs.6,600/- and other allowances at par with Central
Government pay and allowances.
7. PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER CUM PLACEMENT OFFICER
Eligibility conditions:
Officers from Central or State Government / Autonomous Bodies / Government controlled & funded
recognized research institutions / Universities / Public Sector Undertakings:
(i) Holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department, or
(ii) With 05 years regular service in the relevant area in PB-2 (Rs.9300-34800) with GP
Rs.4600/- or 4800
Remuneration and Benefits: Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600-39100) plus Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- and other
allowances at par with Central Government pay and allowances.
