Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing,Kancheepuram   an autonomous Institute under Ministry of Human Resource Development(MHRD), Government of India located at Melakottaiyur, Vandalur‐Kelampakkam Road,Chennai‐600048,  invites application in the prescribed format  from suitable Indian Nationals for the following posts.

1.   Chief Security Officer – 1 Post (UR)

Pay Band (PB‐3): Rs.15600‐39100 with GP: Rs.5,400/‐ 

Essential Qualification & Experience: (1) Bachelor’s Degree from a Recognized University (2) More than 15 years’ experience in Police/Para‐Military Forces/Defence Services, holding the rank of and above Deputy Superintendent of Police or Captain in Army or its equivalent in Navy and Air‐Force (3) Holding a Valid Driving License to drive Jeep/Motor Cycle  

Desirable: Candidate should have adequate knowledge of firefighting, management of subordinates, capability to liaise with different government and non‐government organization and skill to tackle labour related problems. Experience in any Engineering /Technical Institutes like IITs/IISERs/IISc/NITs and similar Government of India institutions.  

2.   Junior Superintendent ‐ 1 Post (UR)

Pay Band (PB‐2): Rs. 9300‐34800 with GP: Rs.4200/‐ 

Essential Qualification & Experience: (i) Master’s Degree   with one year experience in academic administration like admission, examination, student affairs etc. or Establishment, Recruitment, Pension/Provident Fund, Staff Matter or Stores & Purchase etc. OR

(ii) Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of working experience in academic administration like admission, examination, Student Affairs etc. or Establishment, Recruitment, Pension/Provident Fund, Staff Matter or Stores & Purchase etc.  

Desirable: Working Experience in reputed Engineering / Technical Institutes of National Importance like IITs/IISERs/IISc/NITs and similar Central Govt. Institutions and Knowledge in Computer application like MS Office etc.

3.   Junior Attendant ‐ 1 Post (UR)

Pay Band (PB‐1): Rs. 5200‐20200 with GP: Rs.1800/‐ 

Essential Qualification & Experience: Matriculation or equivalent Job Requirement:    The requirement will include the following works. (A) Physical Maintenance of the records of the section. (B) General cleanliness /up keep of the office.(C) Carrying of files & other papers and photocopying of papers. (D) Assisting in routine office work like diary, dispatch etc. and opening and closing of rooms etc. (E) Dusting of

furniture etc. (F) Any other work assigned by the Superiors.
