Free Career Oriented Coaching Scheme for Candidates belonging to Sheduled Caste


Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute (BARTI), Pune(An autonomous institution working under the Department of Social Welfare Governement of Maharashtra, National Commision of Schedule Caste (NCSC), Maharashtra and Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) (Premier R&D institute and Scientific Society under Department of Information Technology Ministry of Communication and Information Technology Government of India have jointly taken initiative to offer 24 weeks full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Computing (DAC) programme to 300 candidates belonging to Sheduled Caste (SC) Category.
The objective of this programme is to provide career opportunities for the SC students in the ICT industry.

Who should apply?

Eligibility:
  1. Category - Schedule Caste(SC)
  2. Domicile Maharashtra State
  3. 50 % reservation for students whose total annual income of the family is less than Rs. 4.5 lakhs.
  4. Educational Qualification as mentioned below:
These candidates will be taken from the list of 600 candidates chosen for the predac programme(216 hours) through CET(Common Enterance Test) conducted across different cities of Maharashtra.

Candidates satisfying all the above criteria can apply for the entrance examination.

Education Qualification :

BE / ME or Equivalent (AMIE, AIETE), B.Sc (Engg), MCA (After B.Sc), MCS (After B.Sc), MSc (Electronics, Instrumentation,Computer Science), MCM (With B.Sc), MBA (Systems) can apply for the course.

  1. Last date of submission of application forms for CET : 20th April 2012
  2. Date of CET : 22nd April 2012
