    Applications are invited to fill up  the post of Reader one each in the Departments of Anaesthesiology and Orthopaedics in the pay scale of `16,350-450-18,600-500-20,100 + NPA (plus other allowances as admissible to UT Government employees) (Unrevised) (Revised Pay Scale ` 37,400-67,000 + Grade pay ` 8,900/-) in Government Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh, under the aegis of the Department of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh Administration, by way of Promotion/Deputation (Including Short-Term Contract) through Union Public Service

The initial period of deputation shall be for three years extendable by a further period of two years as per Department of Personnel & Training O.M.No.6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay- II) dated 17.06.10. The terms and conditions of deputation will be governed by the aforementioned DoP&T’s O.M. of 17.6.10.

Eligibility for Government Accommodation
The officer appointed in the UIDAI will be eligible for General Pool Residential Accommodation at par with Central Government employees.
